When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and the day and month of your birthday (we do not collect your birth year). If you subscribe, we process payment information through Stripe — we do not store your card details. We also collect usage data such as which deals you view, to help us improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate BirthdayBonuses, display relevant birthday deals, manage your subscription, and send you service-related communications. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Location Data
The local deals map uses your approximate location to show nearby birthday deals. Location is requested in your browser and is not stored on our servers. You may decline location access — the map will still be available but results will not be personalised to your area.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Stripe for payment processing. Each of these services has its own privacy policy and data handling practices. By using BirthdayBonuses you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these providers.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion removes your profile and personal data from our systems. Some anonymised usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.
6. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in and to maintain your session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continued use of BirthdayBonuses after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
